一、開設多元社團 發展學生潛能 本校學生社團發展多元豐富，重視學生多元展能，開設學術性、康樂性、體育性、服務性等多樣性社團、展現學生活力與多元的才能，激 發學生潛力。高中部目前有文藝社、辯論社、康輔社、熱舞社、籃球社、 烏克麗麗等15個社團；國中部有日語社、西畫美術研究社、生態探索社、 直笛社、足球社、志工服務社等15個社團，讓學生看見自己學業以外的亮點、發揮潛能。
A. Open up multiple societies to develop students potential
The societies in the school are multiple and colorful with emphasis on
students’ multiple talents display. Diversified societies featured by academy,
health,sports, service are opened up to exhibit students’ vitality and multiple
talents and to motivate their potential. So far, in the senior parts of the school, there are15 societies including Culture and Art Society, Debate Society, Kang-Fu Society, Hot Dance Society, Basketball Society, Ukelele Society, Chun-Hui Society, which allows students to see their own advantages besides school performance and give full scope to their potential.
B .Deepen moral education and conduct good deed each day
Create warm and friendly learning environment on campus and select Model students and Filial Models to set examples for others and to deepen ideological moral education. Coordinated with each theme education, diversified campus activities are hosted. Taking the school sports meeting as an example, creative model class emerges to acclaim the move-in activity, revealing Gushan spirits and class features. Along with each education issue fusing into colorful campus activity, creative learning spirits are played and relevant activities such as Citizen Training, Baolai Colored Drawing, College Trip, Starvation 12, Volunteer Service, One Good Deed Per Day and Service Study are hosted to achieve the goal of ethnic Gushan.
C. Cross-culture study and international education plan
Education trip study in Japan and Korea, participating in the Asian students exchange activities and inviting South Korea English senior high school teachers and students for student communication in our school as well as providing Korea students with course experience in the class. Students in Gushan senior high school gave special reports with Korea students, communicated in both in France and Chinese language through letters with 39 members of France senior students who study Chinese and had face-to- face conservation through video to achieve the initial experience of culture exchange, expecting the plan of students exchange from both parts.
自強獎學金The Zih Ciang Reward
The Zin Ciang Reward, with the original NT$ 3,000,000 donated by adeceased teacher Mei Liang Liou in the school before she retired, symbolizesthe greatest honor of Gushan Senior High School. And because of this, she hoped students can study harder. The account has accumulated for more than NT$ 5,000,000. Annually, we will reward students who get good grades inside or outside the school, or have remarkable achievements.
